Fun fact: I drive a mini van-not by choice-and am proud of it.
Why did you join Alpha Delt?: Alpha Delt embodies everything I was looking for to take my college experience to its fullest potential. This fraternity carries a tradition that reflects the values of the earliest fraternities back in the 1800s, and I think that's awesome. I was drawn in by the brotherhood's aim to exploit every aspect of college available to the undergraduate student. Doing so improves each individual brother-academically, morally, socially, physically-and therefore improves the fraternity as an organization in both the Wash U and St. Louis communities.
What do you like most about Alpha Delt?: The candidacy process is the bees knees. It was the best preparation possible to become a full member of this fraternity. Each brother gives you a small piece of knowledge that helps build this tremendous framework to become not only a brother, but a young adult. Going through this process with my fellow candidates allowed me to become very good friends with all of them, friendships that I can already tell will last beyond college. After the process, I felt a strong connection with all of the brothers. There is just so much to take advantage of in this brotherhood that I know I will value after I graduate.
