Scholarship

We Take Academics Seriously

We were founded as a literary society, and that guides us in all that we do. Our brothers are in every academic field, from architecture and communication design to business and pre-medical.

We provide comprehensive tutoring to any brothers or candidates who may be struggling academically. We have an average grade point average of approximately 3.5, well above the campus average.

The Eliot Chapter received the "Best Literary Program" Award from our International Office at the 2013 and 2014 Conventions (Meeting of the Chapters). This is due to our strong literary philosophy and program, which involves weekly talks from brothers, candidates, and professors; "panel" series of professors and business professionals talking about topics such as:

  • International Politics

  • American History

  • Economic Effects of "Hook-up" Culture

  • And more!

As well as a universally-attended reading program for members over academic breaks.

We also provide a literary scholarship every fall to a freshman male who proves himself to be a man of good character and strong literary character.

A video of our most recent panel on the hook-up culture of Washington University is below.
